How to get Windows 7 For Free.

Well, we're two and a half weeks away from the release of Windows 7. We probably won't see a bunch of shenanigans from Microsoft after Windows Vista, but there will be some hype. There are already some party videos on the internet that have been cracking people up this week. See below if you haven't already.

Whether you are excited or scared about the new operating system, this much is clear: Windows Xp is going the way of the mom and pop record shop. You're going to have to upgrade at some point. If you're curious about its features, or whether you should be scared or not, take a look at Matt Buchanan's review from a couple months ago: http://gizmodo.com/5330609/windows-7-review-you-can-quit-complaining-now

If you're curious how to get out of that Windows Vista or XP machine for free, then stick around here (only for a moment - it's super easy).

Ok, ok, so you read this far and bought your computer from HP. Sorry. I sell Dell. I only sell Dell. (Hey Dell, here's some free advertising. How about some free swag?) But at least if you're reading this and you purchased a system from us, you have a real easy way of working this out. Head to the above website, fill in your name and contact information along with the service tag number of the system, and Dell will send out installation disks to you FOR FREE sometime after October 22nd, 2009.
